I’m your Blend

from all over the world

+
I come from...

... Brazil, Indonesia, India and Ethiopia. Grown up at an altitude of 1100 to 2000 meters, in a tropical green environment with parrots, lots of sun and enough rain. Some big old trees give me shade when it's too hot.

Brazil gave me my sweetness. Indonesia and India made me spicy and gave me strength.

I consist of washed and naturally prepared beans. I am a Blend to create the best espresso possible with different Arabica beans.

+
My Roast

Very gently roasted in a drum roaster. We take the time for the perfect roasting, which reflects the whole variety of the coffee and elicits the potential.

In order to create a soft, nutty espresso with a touch of spices, we took a lot of time to combine the different beans. With this combination of Arabica beans, we have been able to create a special espresso that consists only of Arabica.

My Producers

The farmers who cared about me have different backgrounds. Some of them have a lot of coffee trees, some work together in cooperatives. But in the end they put a lot of time and care into me so that I can develop beautifully. All these farmers live from the fact that later they will become a perfect, beautiful bean.

I’m Kiky Gyan

from Ethiopia

+
I come from...

... Ethiopia, the land of coffee! There I grew up. One of the most fascinating countries in Africa.

I’m from the Sidamo Region in South-West of Ethiopia. Grown up at an altitude of 1200 to 1800 meters and further processed in the washing process.

Ethiopia stands for light-fruity coffee, some of which goes into spicy and chocolaty.

+
My Roast

Gently roasted with sufficient time in the drum roaster, lemony and herbal notes emerge here. An aromatic, balanced coffee.

+
My Producers

I have been taken care of by many small farmers who have joined forces in cooperatives. Partly I come from wild plants, which are cultivated in the landscape.

I’m Eddy Gordo

from Guatemala

+
I come from...

... Guatemala. A small, beautiful country in Central America between the Caribbean Sea and the Pacific Ocean.

The Farm, Finca Santa Clara, cares since generations about me and I am one of only a handful of genuine ‘Antigua’ coffees (coffees grown in the Antigua valley area bounded by three volcanoes – Agua, Acatenango and Fuego). Finca Santa Clara is located on the fertile southern slopes of the Volcán de Agua in the Antigua Valley at 1,600-1,830 metres.

I was washed, freed from the cherry meat with water and fermented wet.

+
My Roast

As with any coffee, Eddy Gordo has been roasted with great care so that we can unfold his full potential. This coffee produces the typical Guatemalan cocoa note, combined with light sweetness and a touch of floral.

My Producers

Ricardo Zelaya has managed the farm, which was bought in 1974 by his Grandfather, since 1988 and is the 4th generation of the Zelaya family to have produced coffee at Santa Clara. A family business in which most of the employees have been working for a long time and feel very attached to the family, the coffee and their work. The family has established an educational program for children in the region and now manages it.
